The DHO800 series is a 12-bit digital oscilloscope with 70MHz or 100MHz bandwidth, 2 or 4 analogue channels, up to 1.25GSa/s real-time sampling and 25Mpts memory, operated from a 7 inch 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch screen. Choose the DHO802, DHO804, DHO812 or DHO814; all four share the same compact case, USB Type-C power input and USB, LAN and HDMI ports.
Features and Benefits
- 12-bit vertical resolution on every model - finer voltage detail than an 8-bit scope when looking at ripple and small signals.
- 500μV/div to 10V/div sensitivity - small sensor outputs and logic levels on the same instrument.
- Up to 1,000,000 wfms/s capture rate in the high speed acquisition mode (30,000 wfms/s in vector mode) - rare glitches show up quickly.
- 25Mpts memory and hardware waveform recording of up to 500,000 frames - long captures you can scroll, search and replay.
- Peak detection that captures 1.6 ns glitches, plus 256-level intensity grading - see how often an event occurs.
- I2C, SPI, CAN, RS232/UART and parallel decoding - read bus traffic directly on screen.
- USB Type-C power input - runs from a portable power bank for on-site work.
- HDMI output and LAN - show the display on a monitor or control the scope from a web browser.
Applications
- Embedded and microcontroller design and debugging.
- Power electronics and switch mode supply work where 12-bit resolution helps.
- Field service and on-site chip testing powered from a power bank.
- Teaching and presentations using the HDMI output.

In the box: Oscilloscope, PVP3150 150MHz probes (4 or 2 by model), power supply, grounding wire, USB cable, printed document. Q: What is an oscilloscope used for? A: It shows voltage over time so you can see waveform shape, timing, noise and glitches. The DHO800 adds 12-bit resolution, deep memory and bus decoding for design and fault finding.. Q: What is the difference between the DHO802, DHO804, DHO812 and DHO814? A: The first digit after 8 sets bandwidth (0 is 70MHz, 1 is 100MHz) and the last digit is the channel count (2 or 4). All four have 12 bits, 25Mpts and the same screen.. Q: How do you use an oscilloscope with a touchscreen? A: Connect a probe, press AUTO, then pinch, drag and zoom the waveform directly on the 7 inch screen. The front knobs and buttons stay available for scale, position and trigger.. Q: Can the DHO800 run without mains power? A: Yes. It has a USB Type-C power input, and the listing shows it running from a portable power bank for on-site testing.. Q: What does an oscilloscope measure? A: Voltage against time. From the captured trace the scope works out values such as amplitude, frequency, period, rise time and duty cycle, and the FFT view shows frequency content..
