Case: Integrated rubber coating, acrylic screen protector, built-in stand opening to 60°. Q: What does an oscilloscope measure? A: It plots voltage against time so you can see a signal's shape, level and timing. In this unit the scope mode has 2 channels and 12 automatic measurements, including frequency, period, RMS and rise time.. Q: What is a spectrum analyser? A: It shows signal level against frequency, which reveals carriers, harmonics and interference that a scope cannot separate. The HSA2000 covers 9kHz to 1.5GHz or 3GHz depending on the model.. Q: What is the difference between a spectrum analyser and an oscilloscope? A: A scope shows the time domain, a spectrum analyser the frequency domain. This handheld does both, plus a true RMS multimeter, and you switch between them with the Mode key.. Q: Can it be used for EMI pre-testing? A: Yes. The listing states it works with the ORF5015 near-field probe, sold separately, and has a peak detector for EMI pre-testing and diagnostics.. Q: How do you use the multimeter function? A: Select the meter with the Mode key, then plug the leads into COM and VΩ for voltage, resistance, capacitance, diode or continuity, or into A or mA for current..
