- The tubing has a 2:1 shrink ratio, meaning it shrinks to half its original diameter when you apply heat. The kit includes eight different common sizes to fit a wide range of wire gauges. This ensures you get a snug, tight fit over your electrical connections.
- What is the best way to shrink this tubing onto my wires?
- You can use a heat gun or a simple lighter to shrink the polyolefin tubing. Gently apply even heat along the sleeve until it shrinks tightly around the wire. Be careful not to hold the heat source in one spot for too long.
