This two channel digital oscilloscope comes as the DSO2C10, DSO2C15, DSO2D10 or DSO2D15: 100MHz or 150MHz bandwidth, 1GSa/s real-time sampling, 8M memory depth and a 7 inch 800 x 480 screen, with a built-in 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator on the D models. Serial triggering and decoding for UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and LIN make it a bench scope for embedded and automotive work as well as general repair.
Features and Benefits
- 1GSa/s on one channel (500MSa/s on two) and 8M record length - long captures at full speed to catch glitches and intermittent faults.
- 14 trigger types including pulse width, slope, window, pattern, UART, LIN, CAN, SPI and IIC - trigger on the exact event you are chasing.
- Protocol decoding for RS232/UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and LIN - read bus data on screen instead of counting bits.

- 32 automatic measurements with statistics, 2 digital voltmeters and a hardware 6 digit frequency counter.
- 2mV/div to 10V/div vertical range with a high resolution mode up to 12bit - small signals stay readable.
- USB host and device ports with SCPI remote control - save CSV, image and waveform files or drive the scope from a PC.
Applications
- Embedded and microcontroller debugging on I2C, SPI and UART buses.
- Vehicle CAN and LIN bus checks.
- Power supply, motor drive and audio circuit repair.
- Teaching labs and product development benches.
In the box
Oscilloscope, probe with accessories, BNC to crocodile clip lead (two on D models, one on C models), USB cable, mains lead and paperwork, as pictured for the standard kits. The P4100 options add a P4100 probe.
Note: Maximum input is 300Vrms with the probe on 10X, and bandwidth drops to 6MHz on the 1X probe setting. The mains lead pictured has an EU plug; use a UK plug adapter.

A: It shows how a voltage changes over time, so you can see waveform shape, timing and noise. With decoding on this model you can also read UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and LIN traffic alongside the waveform.. Q: What is the difference between the DSO2C and DSO2D models? A: The D models add a 1 channel 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator. The 10 and 15 in the name mean 100MHz and 150MHz bandwidth.. Q: How do you find frequency on this oscilloscope? A: Turn on the frequency measurement or use the hardware 6 digit frequency counter, which reads the signal directly. Cursors also give the reciprocal of the time difference in hertz.. Q: Can this oscilloscope decode CAN bus? A: Yes. It triggers on and decodes CAN, as well as LIN, RS232/UART, I2C and SPI, with user baud rates on CAN from 5kbit/s to 1Mbit/s.. Q: What is the time base of an oscilloscope? A: It is the horizontal scale in time per division. On this series it runs from 2ns/div to 100s/div in 1-2-5 steps, with Y-T, X-Y and roll modes..
