The 6022BE is a two channel USB oscilloscope for a laptop or PC with 20MHz bandwidth, 48MSa/s real-time sampling and 1M memory per channel, powered from the USB 2.0 port with no external supply. The 6022BL adds a 16 channel logic analyser in the same anodised aluminium case, so one unit covers analogue waveforms and digital timing.
Features and Benefits
- 2 channels at 20MHz and 48MSa/s - audio, sensor, PWM and low speed digital signals on the computer screen.
- 1M memory per channel - long records for intermittent faults.
- 6022BL: 16 logic channels at 48M sample rate, TTL, LVTTL and CMOS inputs - check serial and parallel timing next to the analogue view.
- 23 measurement functions with PASS/FAIL check - Vpp, RMS, frequency, rise time, duty cycle and more without manual counting.
- FFT, maths (+, -, x, ÷), invert, X-Y, persistence and averaging - analyse noise and phase as well as shape.
- USB 2.0 powered - no mains adapter, suits laptops and production line work.
- Save to text, jpg/bmp or Excel and Word files, and connect several units to one computer to add channels.
Applications
- Laptop based repair and field service.
- Student and hobby electronics benches.
- Microcontroller and logic timing checks with the 6022BL.
- Product line maintenance and testing.
In the box
2 x probes with accessories, USB cable, software CD and certificate card with each unit. The 6022BL also includes a 16 way logic cable and 16 logic test clips. The BAG options add a hard carry case.
Note: Input sensitivity is 20mV/div to 5V/div on the x1 probe setting; use the x10 probe setting for larger signals and clip the probe ground only to circuit ground. The listing names Windows 7, NT, 2000, XP and Vista for the software.

A: It records many digital lines at once as highs and lows so you can check timing between signals. The 6022BL adds 16 logic channels at 48M sample rate alongside its two oscilloscope channels.. Q: What is the difference between the 6022BE and 6022BL? A: Both are 2 channel 20MHz USB oscilloscopes. The 6022BL adds the 16 channel logic analyser with its logic cable and test clips.. Q: How do you use a USB oscilloscope? A: Install the software from the CD, connect the unit with the USB cable, then fit a probe to CH1 with its ground clip on circuit ground and set the timebase and volts per division in the software.. Q: Does it need a power supply? A: No. It runs from the computer's USB 2.0 port with no external power source.. Q: What does an oscilloscope measure? A: Voltage over time. The software then calculates 23 values such as Vpp, RMS, frequency, rise time and duty cycle..
