- What can the BSIDE A1 pen test?
- It checks AC and DC voltage, resistance and frequency, and finds live wires without contact. Breakpoint detection helps you pinpoint where a wire is broken. It also does continuity with an audible beep.
- What ranges does it measure?
- Voltage reads from 12V to 1000V on both AC and DC. Resistance covers 0 ohms up to 6 megohms, and frequency runs 40Hz to 1000Hz. It auto-ranges, so you don't pick the scale yourself.
- Is this pen safe for mains work?
- It carries a CAT III safety rating, suitable for fixed building wiring and outlets. Non-contact detection lets you spot live wires before touching anything. Operate it within 0C to 40C for accurate readings.
