- It measures gas pressure in HVAC and industrial work, and the two ports let you read differential pressure between two points. Technicians use it for system balancing, process monitoring, and gas line checks. The hold function freezes a reading so you can write it down.
- Can I use this manometer on any gas line?
- It's rated for non-corrosive gases, so it suits natural gas, air, and similar clean media. Don't connect it to corrosive or aggressive gases, since that can damage the piezoresistive sensor. Confirm your gas is non-corrosive before testing.
- How accurate are the readings and what units does it show?
- Typical accuracy is about 0.5% of full scale, with resolution down to 0.01 psi or 0.1 kPa. You can pick from 12 units like psi, kPa, and mmHg to match the standard you work in. It also records max, min, and average values.
