- Will this DC breaker work for my solar panel or battery setup?
- Yes, it's made for solar PV and battery storage systems. The model covers rated DC voltages from 100V up to 1000V, so match the version to your array or pack voltage. It also handles current ratings from 16A to 63A.
- Can I use a regular AC breaker for DC instead of this one?
- No. DC current doesn't cross zero like AC, so the arc is harder to extinguish and an AC breaker can fail to interrupt it safely. This breaker is built for DC duty with silver alloy contacts and flame-retardant UL94 V-0 housing.
- How does this breaker mount in my panel?
- It clips onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and takes up 36mm of width as a 2-pole unit. Mind the polarity markings during wiring, since DC breakers are direction-sensitive. Terminal torque isn't listed, so follow the printed values on the unit.
