- What are the exact measurement ranges and how accurate are the readings?
- This meter measures pH from 0 to 14 with an accuracy of ±0.01 pH. It also measures total dissolved solids from 0 to 9990 ppm with ±2% full-scale accuracy. Built-in automatic temperature compensation ensures accurate readings in water temperatures between 0°C and 50°C.
- Do I need to manually calibrate this meter and how do I protect the sensors?
- No, this device features automatic calibration to keep your readings accurate. To protect the glass pH electrode and titanium TDS probe, rinse them with clean water after use. Store the tester with its protective cap on to prevent damage to the sensors.
- Will this tester get damaged if I accidentally drop it into the water?
- You don't have to worry about accidental drops because this tester has an IP67 waterproof rating. The housing is made of durable ABS plastic designed to withstand wet environments. It also uses a quality glass electrode for pH and a titanium alloy sensor for TDS.
