- Yes, it is highly safe because it features a CAT III 1000V safety rating and double insulation. The non-contact design means you can check for live voltage without touching exposed wires. Just make sure to test it on a known live outlet before starting your work.
- How do I use this tool to find a break in an electrical wire?
- Slide the pen tip along the length of the insulated wire while the circuit is plugged in. The red and green LED indicators and sound alarm will stay active along the live wire. The alerts will turn off the moment you pass the internal break point.
