- What's the maximum temperature this sensor can handle?
- It depends on which type you choose. The K-type thermocouple is made for higher temperatures, measuring up to 800°C. The PT100 version is for a lower range, from -200°C up to 450°C.
- What kind of fitting does this use to attach to a pipe or vessel?
- This sensor uses a standard NPT 1/2" thread for a secure, sealed installation. You just screw it into a matching female NPT port on your equipment, like a thermowell or a tank boss.
- What probe sizes are available and what are they made of?
- The probe is made from 304 stainless steel and has a 6mm diameter. You can get it in four different lengths: 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, or 200mm, depending on how deep you need it to sit in your process.
