- Can I use these fittings for drinking water lines, and what tubing sizes do they fit?
- These fittings work with standard pneumatic and fluid tubing in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm outer diameters. They are fully compatible with compressed air, inert gases, and non-potable water. However, you must not use them for drinking water systems.
- What are the maximum pressure and temperature limits for these quick-connect fittings?
- These fittings easily handle a maximum working pressure of 10 bar or 145 psi for air and water. They operate safely in a temperature range between -10°C and 60°C. Exceeding these limits can degrade the Nitrile O-ring and cause leaks.
- Do I need any special tools to connect or disconnect my air lines with these?
- You do not need any special tools to install or disconnect these fittings. Simply push the tubing straight into the port for a secure, instant connection. To release the tube, press the stainless steel collet and pull the line out.
