- How does this cabinet light install, and is wiring needed?
- There's no wiring. It runs on a CR2032 battery and mounts with adhesive or a screw, so you can put it inside a cabinet in minutes. The slim, recessed body sits out of the way of your storage.
- Does the light turn on by itself when I open the door?
- Yes. A built-in motion sensor switches the LED on when you open the cabinet and off after a short delay. It's handy for dark kitchen cabinets, closets, wardrobes, and display shelves. You get light right where you're looking without flipping a switch.
- How long does the battery last before I have to swap it?
- The 0.25W LED sips power, so a CR2032 battery lasts roughly 3 to 6 months depending on how often the door opens. Replacing it is tool-free thanks to the magnetic, easy-access mount. Low draw keeps running costs minimal.
