- While the INA219 only monitors a single channel, this INA3221 board tracks three independent power channels. It acts as a drop-in pin-compatible replacement for your existing INA219-based designs. This lets you monitor three different voltage sources simultaneously using a single compact breakout board.
- What are the maximum voltage and current limits I can measure with this sensor?
- Each of the three channels can measure bus voltages from 0V up to 26V. The board handles a shunt voltage range of ±163.8 mV. Your maximum current limit will depend on the value of the shunt resistors you install on the board.
- Can I use this sensor board with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers?
- Yes, you can connect it directly to either system. The board features an on-board level shifter that ensures reliable I2C communication with both 3.3V and 5V logic. You can power the chip itself using any supply voltage from 2.7V to 5.5V.
