Questions about this product

Does this Hall sensor work with an Arduino?
Yes. It uses a standard 3-pin layout (VCC, GND, Signal) and runs on 5V, so it plugs straight into Arduino boards. The signal goes to an analog input pin. It also works with other microcontrollers that read analog voltage.
What can I build with the KY-035 module?
The 49E sensor outputs analog voltage that tracks magnetic field strength, not just on or off. That makes it good for proximity sensing, position detection, and non-contact switches. You can also use it to build rotary encoders or detect a magnet's distance.
Can it tell which magnet pole is near it?
Yes, it's bipolar, so it detects both north and south poles. With no magnet present, the output sits around 2.5V (half of VCC). The voltage rises or falls from there depending on the pole and field strength.
