- What's the real-world detection range of the TF-Luna, and does it work on any surface?
- The TF-Luna has an official operating range from 20cm up to 8 metres. Its performance is best on surfaces with high reflectivity, like a white wall. Darker or less reflective surfaces will still be detected but typically at a reduced maximum range.
- How do I physically connect this to my Arduino or Raspberry Pi?
- The module runs on 5V and can communicate using either UART or IIC, which are both standard on those boards. You just need to connect the power (5V), ground (GND), and the two communication pins to your microcontroller. For UART you'll use the TX/RX pins, and for IIC you'll use the SDA/SCL pins.
