- The paste comes in two distinct alloys depending on your heat sensitivity needs. Use the 172°C Sn-Bi alloy for delicate components like LEDs to prevent heat damage. Choose the 217°C Sn-Ag-Cu alloy for standard lead-free reflow and stronger mechanical connections.
- How should I store this solder paste, and how long will it last?
- You need to store this syringe of paste in the refrigerator between 0°C and 10°C. Keeping it cold prevents the flux and metal from separating. Kept this way, it has a shelf life of six months.
- Do I really need to clean off the residue after I finish soldering?
