- This rosin-based paste flux is formulated specifically for electronics repair and soldering circuit boards. It helps create strong, clean joints by reducing oxidation and improving solder flow on delicate electrical connections.
- Do I need to clean off the residue after soldering, and how do I store it?
- Cleaning is optional because the ROL0 classification means the clear residue is non-corrosive. If you prefer a spotless board, you can easily clean it off using Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). Store the container between 5 and 25 °C to get the full 12 to 24-month shelf life.
- Is this flux safe for my components, and does it contain lead?
- Yes, this is a completely lead-free formula that meets current safety standards. It passes copper mirror corrosion and electromigration tests, meaning it won't damage your sensitive electronic components over time.
