- What kind of soldering is this flux for?
- It's made for BGA, SMD, and PGA rework on circuit boards. That includes reballing chips and soldering surface-mount parts. The syringe gives you controlled dispensing for precise jobs.
- Do I need to clean the residue after soldering?
- No. It's a no-clean, halogen-free formula, and the residue is transparent and electrically non-conductive. So it usually doesn't need removal. That cuts down corrosive residue on your components.
- Does it work with both leaded and lead-free solder?
- Yes, it's compatible with leaded and lead-free solder alloys. The flux activates around 150 to 200 C during reflow. Each syringe holds 10CC, enough for many repair sessions.
