- What can this network tester actually diagnose?
- It checks cable length with TDR, tests PoE and PING, and maps wiring. Port voltage detection flags active ports and voltage levels. The wiremap catches opens, shorts, crosses, and split pairs.
- Which cables and connectors does it support?
- It has RJ45 and RJ11 ports, so it handles Ethernet and coaxial-style runs. TDR length measurement reaches up to 600 metres. That covers most office, home, and industrial cabling jobs.
- How accurate is the cable length reading?
- Length accuracy is about plus or minus 2% plus 0.5m, shown in metres on the LCD. That's close enough to locate a break or fault along a long run. PoE voltage detection covers 0 to 60V DC.
