- This tester works with RJ45 Ethernet and RJ11 telephone cables, including both PVC and LSZH jackets. It supports straight-through and crossover test modes to identify wiring faults like shorts or open circuits.
- Does the tester come with a battery, and what is in the box?
- The package includes the M469A main unit and a detachable remote unit for testing long runs. You will need to supply your own 9V alkaline battery, as one is not included in the box.
- How long of a cable can this tool analyze, and how fast is the test?
- You can accurately test Ethernet and telephone lines up to a maximum length of 100 meters. The LED scan cycles through the wire map quickly, taking approximately two seconds per test.
