Questions about this product

How do I connect this sensor to an Arduino board?
This module uses the IIC protocol, so it's a straightforward connection. You just need to link the sensor's SDA and SCL pins to the corresponding IIC pins on your Arduino, plus power and ground.
What do the 50C, 200C, and 400C in the name mean?
Those numbers refer to the maximum measuring distance for each version. The TOF050C measures up to 50cm, the TOF200C measures up to 2 metres, and the TOF400C has the longest range at 4 metres. You should choose the model that best fits the distances in your project.
How accurate is the distance reading and does the surface colour matter?
Time-of-flight sensors are generally quite accurate regardless of an object's colour or reflectiveness. However, you might get less reliable readings from very dark, matte black surfaces or transparent materials like glass. For most solid objects, the readings are consistent.
