Capacitor Discharger | Black Tweezer Pen with LED | 10 to 1000V

This capacitor discharger is a black tweezer style pen that drains the residual charge from offline capacitors charged between 10 and 1000 V, discharging at constant current to a termination voltage of 2 V. Close the gold-coloured tips across the capacitor terminals with one hand and the red LED in the end of the handle lights while it works. The LED goes out at about 9 V and the pen carries on to below 2 V; the listing quotes about 3 seconds. There is no polarity to observe and no sparking. Each pen comes in its own clear plastic case, sold singly or as a pack of two.
