- It has an M14 thread, which mounts on angle grinders and many tile drills directly. For a standard variable speed drill you'll need an M14 adapter. Use low, steady RPM for clean cuts in hard tile.
- Do I need water when drilling with this bit?
- Yes, it's designed for water cooling, so keep the diamond crown wet while you cut. Water clears debris and stops the segments overheating, which protects the bit and the tile. Dry drilling will dull it fast and risk cracking the surface.
- What materials does this diamond bit cut?
- It's built mainly for porcelain tile, with granite and marble as secondary uses. The sintered diamond crown gives a clean 14mm hole in these hard, brittle surfaces. Core extraction is required after you break through.
