- What does this monitor actually measure in my tank?
- It tracks three things at once: pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and temperature. Readings show on the unit and in the Tuya Smart app. You can set alerts so you know when water drifts out of range.
- How does it connect to my phone?
- It links to the Tuya Smart app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Make sure your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz band, since 5 GHz alone won't work. The included probes go in the water and the main unit can mount on a wall.
- What are the measurement ranges and how precise are they?
- pH covers 0 to 14 with plus or minus 0.1 accuracy. EC reaches up to 199 mS/cm at plus or minus 2 percent. Temperature reads 0 to 50 C within half a degree, which suits aquariums, ponds, and pools.
