Air Compressor Intake Filter Muffler | 20mm Male Thread | Black Plastic

This air compressor intake filter muffler screws onto the air inlet of a small piston compressor or air pump through a 20mm male thread. It stops dust and other solid particles being drawn into the pump, so it works as a straightforward replacement for a worn or missing inlet filter. Features and benefits: - 20mm male thread - connects directly to a matching inlet port with no adapter - Sponge filter element inside the body - removes solid particles such as dust from the incoming air - Black plastic cylindrical body - light, and easy to fit by hand - Ring of small round air holes around a central boss on the underside - lets air in evenly while the element does the filtering - Overall diameter of 60 x 33mm (D x H) - compact enough for small compressor housings - Commonly used filter style on many compressors - check the thread size and body size against your pump before ordering Applications: - Replacing a clogged or missing intake filter on a piston air compressor - Small air pumps that take a 20mm male threaded inlet filter - Workshop and garage compressors that run pneumatic tools - Routine pump servicing alongside other wear parts In the box: 1 x intake muffler filter. Note: Check the thread is 20mm male before fitting, and replace the filter when the sponge element is clogged or damaged.
