Air Compressor Accessories Intake Filter Silencer | 16mm Male Thread | 59 x 33mm

This air compressor intake filter silencer is one of the simpler air compressor accessories to fit: it screws onto a small piston air pump through its 16mm male thread, cleaning the air drawn into the pump and quietening the intake. The plastic body measures 59 x 33mm (diameter by height), weighs 23g and holds a sponge filter element, so it works as a straight replacement for a worn or missing intake filter on small air pumps. Features and benefits: - 16mm male thread spout - screws straight into a matching female intake port on a small air pump, no adapter needed - Sponge filter element inside a plastic body - stops dust and other solid particles being pulled into the cylinder - Acts as an intake silencer - cuts the hiss of air entering the pump - Compact 59 x 33mm size - fits into the tight space around small pump heads - Light at 23g - adds almost no load to the pump housing - Sold singly - one filter silencer per order, handy as a spare Applications: - Replacing a worn intake filter on a small piston air compressor - Direct connection to small air pumps with a 16mm female intake thread - Workshop and garage compressor servicing - Spare part for hobby and school workshop air pumps In the box: 1 x filter silencer Note: Check that your pump intake has a 16mm female thread before ordering, and measure the thread rather than relying on the pump's make. Replace the filter when the sponge is clogged or oily, and never run the pump with the intake open. Colour shown on screen may differ slightly from the part, and dimensions allow for small measuring variation.
