- Do I need a ZigBee hub to use this smart breaker?
- Yes. It talks over ZigBee 3.0, so it needs a Tuya-compatible ZigBee hub to reach the app and your network. Once paired you can monitor and switch it remotely. It also has a manual toggle for local control.
- How does it mount and should an electrician wire it?
- It clips onto a standard DIN rail inside your panel and runs on 230V AC. Because it sits on live mains wiring, a qualified electrician should install it. The adjustable 1 to 63A rating lets you match it to the circuit.
- What protection does this breaker give my circuit?
- It trips on over-current, short circuit, and under-voltage to shield connected equipment. It also meters real-time voltage, current, power, and energy so you can spot problems early. That combines safety with usage tracking in one unit.
