Questions about this product
- What is the maximum thickness of nickel strips this welder can handle?
- This portable welder typically handles nickel strips between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm thick. You can adjust the pulse time and settings to get strong, consistent welds on different thicknesses. The 9000W power and 1350A current provide plenty of strength for these ranges.
- What accessories come in the box with this spot welder?
- You get the spot welder unit, a welding pen, a power adapter, and some nickel strips to start. It also features a pedal to keep your hands free for positioning materials. You will have everything needed to begin your DIY battery projects right away.
- Can I plug this welder into a standard household wall outlet?
- This unit requires a 220V AC input voltage to operate. Standard 110V outlets will not power it, so make sure you have a compatible outlet or step-up transformer. It is perfect for home workshops set up for higher voltage tools.
