Questions about this product

What is this preheater actually used for?
It warms PCBs evenly before and during soldering or rework. People use it for BGA reballing, SMD soldering and desoldering, and general PCB preheating. The even heat helps you avoid cracking or warping sensitive boards.
How big a board fits on the hot plate?
The heating surface is 200 by 200 mm, so it handles most small to mid-size PCBs. The whole unit measures 250 by 250 by 120 mm and weighs 3.5 kg. Larger boards can still be preheated in sections.
How hot does it get and how stable is the temperature?
It runs from 50 to 400 degrees C and holds within plus or minus 2 degrees C. The 800W ceramic element reaches 200 degrees C in about 5 minutes. That stability matters for consistent reflow without overheating parts.
