- What is this 14kW spot welder built to weld?
- It is made for joining lithium battery tabs and nickel strip during pack assembly. It also handles small metal parts and electronics repair. The super capacitor design pushes up to 2400A for strong, repeatable welds.
- How thick a nickel strip can it weld?
- It welds nickel strip from 0.05mm up to 0.3mm. The super capacitor charges in about 1 to 3 seconds between welds, and pulse duration is adjustable. Thicker strip than 0.3mm is outside its range.
- What power does it need and how do I read the settings?
- It runs on 220-240V AC at 50/60Hz and is air-cooled, so no water loop is required. The 6V digital display shows real-time settings and status. Microprocessor control lets you dial in the pulse for the strip you are welding.
