- What do people use this 180W electronic load for?
- It measures battery capacity and energy by discharging a cell under a controlled load. You can also test power supplies and chargers, and read live voltage, current, power, and watt-hours. The PD/QC trigger lets you pull set voltages from USB chargers.
- What are the voltage, current, and power limits?
- It handles 0.5V to 60V input, up to 20A, and 180W of dissipation. A built-in fan keeps it cool during longer tests. Stay inside those limits, since exceeding the power rating can overheat the load.
- Which battery types can I test with it?
- It works with lithium-ion, lithium polymer, lead-acid, NiMH, and NiCd cells. You connect through banana jacks or alligator clips. Three discharge modes (constant current, power, and resistance) let you match the test to the chemistry.
