- What engines and equipment does this hour meter work with?
- It's built for small engines on lawn tractors, mowers, portable generators, and compressors. You can also use it on snowmobiles, ATVs, and marine engines. The RPM range goes up to 99,999, so it covers most small-engine speeds.
- What does this meter actually track on my engine?
- It reads three things at once: engine RPM, total running hours, and temperature. The hour count helps you time oil changes and service. The temperature reading lets you spot overheating before it causes damage.
- Can I replace the battery when it dies?
- No, the CR2032 battery is sealed inside and not replaceable. The meter logs hours continuously, so it's meant to run for the unit's lifespan. When the battery fails, you replace the whole meter.
