- What does desoldering wick do?

- Do I need to clean the board after using this wick?
- No. It uses a no-clean flux that leaves minimal, non-conductive residue. That saves you a cleanup step, though you can still wipe the board if you want it spotless.
- Will this work with my regular soldering iron?
- Yes. It's made for standard soldering irons and works across normal soldering temperatures, roughly 250 to 400 degrees C. Just heat the wick against the joint and let it draw the solder up.
