- What does this battery tester tell me?
- It reads the voltage of your car or truck battery and shows the result on 6 colored LEDs. That gives you a quick sense of whether the battery is charged, weak, or failing. It helps you catch a no-start problem before it strands you.
- How do I hook it up?
- You clamp the leads straight onto the battery terminals, red to positive and black to negative. The roughly 60 cm cable gives you room to reach the posts. It draws power from the battery itself, so there's nothing to charge or plug in.
- Does it work on both 12V and 24V systems?
- Yes. It reads 12V and 24V batteries, and the input range covers 6V to 30V DC. That suits most cars, trucks, and similar vehicles. Reverse polarity protection guards it if you connect the clamps backwards by mistake.
