- This scanner detects metal up to 76 mm deep and AC live wires up to 51 mm deep. For non-metal objects like wooden studs, the maximum detection depth is 38 mm. It works best within these specific depth limits to keep your drilling safe.
- Does the wall scanner come with a battery, or do I need to buy one?
- The wall scanner does not come with a battery included in the package. You will need to buy a standard 9V alkaline battery to start using the device. This battery will power your scanner for about six hours of continuous use.
