- Do not submerge this testing meter completely in your pool or aquarium. While the ABS plastic housing is splash-proof, the unit itself is not fully waterproof. You only need to dip the bottom electrode tip into the liquid to get an accurate reading.
- How do I calibrate this meter to keep the readings accurate?
- This digital meter features automatic calibration to keep your testing accurate over time. You will calibrate the pH glass bulb using a three-point process at 4.01, 6.86, and 9.18. The TDS platinum sensor uses a quick single-point calibration at 1000 ppm.
- What types of water testing is this digital meter designed for?
- You can use this tool to monitor drinking water, swimming pools, aquariums, and hydroponic nutrient solutions. It handles a wide TDS range up to 9990 ppm and measures pH with 0.01 accuracy.
