- Will these tips fit my specific soldering station?
- These tips are designed for any station that uses the standard 900M series. They have an internal diameter of 4.0 mm and an external diameter of 6.5 mm. You can use them with both lead-free and leaded solders.
- What exactly comes in this pack, and what shapes do I get?
- You get ten copper alloy tips in assorted shapes, including chisel and conical styles. The package also includes a welding sleeve to help you install them. This variety lets you handle everything from fine circuit boards to general soldering.
- How do I keep these soldering tips from wearing out too quickly?
- You need to clean and tin the tips regularly to prevent oxidation. Always store them in a dry place at room temperature when you are done. Keeping your station between 200°C and 480°C will also extend their lifespan.
