- What's the maximum rotational speed this encoder can handle?
- This encoder has a maximum mechanical speed of 5000 RPM. Its response frequency is 0-20KHz, which makes it suitable for a wide range of positioning and motor speed feedback applications.
- How should I wire this encoder up?
- It comes with a 1.5-metre cable. Connect the green wire for A phase, the white wire for B phase, red for the DC 8-24V power supply, and black for ground. Be sure not to connect the A/B phase outputs directly to VCC, as this will damage the output triode.
- What are the dimensions for the shaft and body?
- The main body is 38mm by 35.5mm and is made of aluminium alloy. The shaft is 6mm in diameter and 13mm long, which is a common size for many standard couplings and fittings.
