Normal Usage (Connecting to a PC or Mac) A hard drive docking station like this Dual Bay Array allows you to connect 3.5 inch HDDs and 2.5 inch SSDs/HDDs to your computer without needing to install them internally. It acts as an external hard drive enclosure, providing a simple way to access data from multiple drives. This model supports a maximum drive capacity of 60 TB, making it suitable for large data storage and retrieval. It connects via a SATA to USB interface, ensuring broad compatibility with most modern computers. Step 1: Connect the Dock First, ensure the Drive Docking Station is connected to a power source using the provided power adapter. This product comes with both EU Plug and US Plug options. Next, connect the docking station to your PC or Mac using the supplied USB cable. The SATA to USB bridge controller within the dock will enable your computer to recognise the connected drives. For optimal performance, use a USB 3.0 or higher port on your computer if available. Step 2: Insert the Hard Drive or SSD With the dock powered off, carefully insert your 3.5 inch HDD or 2.5 inch SSD/HDD into one of the dual bays. Ensure the drive is fully seated in the SATA connector. This docking station is designed to accommodate both drive sizes, offering versatility for various storage needs. You can insert one drive or two drives simultaneously, as it is a dual bay unit. Step 3: Power On & Access Data Once the drive or drives are securely inserted, switch on the power.
