Appliance Mini PC | Dual 10G SFP+ 2.5GbE | OPNsense Edge Gateway

Built around dual 10G SFP+ optical cages, this firewall appliance mini pc handles heavy packet throughput using an Intel N150 quad-core chip. Two Intel i226-V 2.5GbE ports complete the interface set, making it a capable hardware router for modern fiber internet and virtualized setups. Features and Benefits - Dual Intel 82599ES 10G SFP+ ports - Accepts optical modules and direct-attach copper cables to route multi-gigabit fiber connections without dropped packets. - Pair of 2.5GbE i226-V RJ45 network jacks - Supplies wired connections for dedicated local management networks, backup lines, and wireless access points. - Intel Twin Lake N150 4-core architecture - Outperforms older N100 systems on encrypted VPN tunnels and deep packet inspection tasks. - Passive metal housing with low power components - Runs directly from a 12V supply while shedding heat without fan maintenance or bearing failures. Applications - High-bandwidth OPNsense or pfSense perimeter security box securing incoming 10-gigabit fiber feeds for busy offices. - Virtualized network lab running Proxmox VE with isolated virtual switches mapped directly to physical 10-gigabit SFP+ interfaces. - Dedicated IoT edge gateway handling high-volume telemetry ingestion, site-to-site WireGuard tunnels, and hardware firewall rules.
