Questions about this product

Is a 13,500 lb winch powerful enough for my recovery truck or large 4x4?: A good rule of thumb is to choose a winch with a capacity of at least 1.5 times your vehicle's gross weight. This 13,500 lbs (6123 kg) model is well-suited for larger off-road vehicles and recovery trucks, providing plenty of pulling power for most situations you'll encounter.
How do the dual remote controls work? Do I get both?: Yes, this winch includes both a wired handset and a wireless remote. The wireless remote lets you operate the winch from a safe distance of up to 20 metres. The wired remote plugs directly into the control box for a reliable connection if the wireless battery runs out.
What does the IP55 waterproof rating actually mean for use in the rain?: The IP55 rating means the winch is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It's built to handle being used in heavy rain, mud, and typical British weather without any issues. The motor and gearbox are well-sealed against the elements.

This electric winch gives your vehicle serious pulling power. It has a 13,500-pound capacity and a 6.0 HP 12V motor. This winch can recover full-size trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs from very tough off-road spots. Features and Benefits - 80 ft Synthetic Rope - This rope is lighter and stronger than steel cable. It's easier to handle, won't store kinetic energy, and floats in water. This makes recoveries safer and simpler. - Dual Remote Controls - You get both a wired remote and a wireless remote with an 82-foot range. This lets you run the winch from a safe distance with a clear view. - 13,500 lbs Pulling Strength - The three-stage planetary gear system provides enough force for most SUV recovery jobs. It gets you out of mud, sand, or steep hills. - IP55 Waterproof Rating - The sealed motor and gearbox are safe from dust and low-pressure water jets. This means the winch works reliably in rain and mud. Applications - Getting a stuck truck or SUV free during off-road trips. - Pulling a broken-down vehicle onto a flatbed trailer. - Moving big obstacles like fallen trees off a trail or property.
