- These precut PVC sleeves work well for both individual 18650 cells and larger multi-cell configurations. They are designed to fit battery packs from 1S up to 4S layouts. Just ensure your bundled pack dimensions align with the sleeve's capacity.
- What tool do I need to shrink these sleeves, and what temperature should I use?
- You will need a heat gun or a specialized heating tool to apply these wraps. The PVC material requires a minimum shrinkage temperature of 80°C to shrink properly. Gently apply heat evenly around the sleeve until it conforms tightly to your battery.
- What are the exact measurements of these wraps before they are shrunk down?
- Each precut sleeve has a flat width of 30 mm and a length of 72 mm. Before you apply heat, the wall thickness is a thin 0.1 mm. After heating, the sleeve shrinks at a 2:1 ratio and the wall thickens to 0.2 mm.
