Questions about this product

What kind of projects can I use this rosin core solder wire for?
This solder wire is designed specifically for electrical repairs and electronics assembly. It works perfectly for soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and fixing circuit board connections. Because it contains a rosin core flux, you don't have to clean up any messy residue after you finish soldering.
Should I choose the 0.8mm or 1.0mm diameter for my project?
Choose the thinner 0.8mm wire if you are working on fine, detailed electronics or small PCB components. The 1.0mm wire is better for general electrical work and larger wire connections. We offer both sizes in 50g and 100g spools so you can match your project's volume.
What is the exact alloy composition of this solder wire?
This solder comes in either a leaded Sn63/Pb37 alloy or a lead-free Sn99.3/Cu0.7 copper-tin blend. The leaded version melts at 183°C, while the lead-free option has a higher melting point of 227°C. Both options feature a built-in non-corrosive rosin core that makes up about two percent of the wire.
