No, this breaker is specifically rated for high-voltage DC systems up to 1000V. Standard AC breakers cannot safely extinguish DC arcs, which can cause fires. Use this model only for solar arrays, battery banks, or other DC applications.
Does it matter how I connect the wires to the positive and negative terminals?
Yes, polarity matters. The breaker housing has clear positive (+) and negative (-) markings that you must follow during installation.
