- It guards your circuit from overload and short-circuit faults. The 2-pole design breaks both live conductors at once, so it suits 230V single-phase or 400V two-phase loads. Think water heaters, AC units, or industrial equipment that needs both lines cut on a fault.
- How do I pick the right amp rating between 16A and 63A?
- Match the breaker to your wire size and the load it feeds. The terminals take solid wire from 1mm² up to 25mm², so heavier circuits can use higher ratings. As a rule, the breaker amps should sit below the cable's safe current limit, not above it.
- Will this fit my electrical panel?
- Yes, it clips onto standard 35mm DIN rail found in most consumer units and distribution boards. It takes up 2 modules, about 36mm wide, with 18mm per pole. A licensed electrician should wire and seat it for you.
