- What size and thickness of circuit boards can this holder actually support?
- You can use this workstation with various PCB sizes. The insulated alligator clips have a jaw opening of up to 10 mm. However, we recommend a maximum board thickness of 5 mm for a secure, stable grip.
- Is this workstation safe for static-sensitive electronics, and what are its temperature limits?
- This is the standard version of the holder and it is not rated as ESD safe. It operates safely in temperatures from 0°C to 60°C. Keep your soldering iron tip away from the insulated rubber clip coatings to prevent damage.
- How do the flexible arms attach to the base, and can I rearrange them?
- The four stainless steel arms attach to the steel base using magnetic posts. You can easily slide or reposition them anywhere on the 200 mm by 145 mm heavy steel plate. This design lets you set up custom angles for any soldering project.
