- How should I store this solder paste to keep it from drying out?
- Keep this paste refrigerated between 5 and 10 °C with a humidity level of 30 to 70 percent. Storing it this way gives you a six-month shelf life. Always let the syringe reach room temperature before you start soldering.
- What types of metals and projects can I use this lead-free paste on?
- This paste works great for circuit board repairs and splicing electrical wires. It securely bonds copper, iron, and stainless steel components. The SAC305 alloy and rosin flux ensure clean joints on these metals.
- What temperature do I need to reach to melt and reflow this solder?
- You need a peak reflow temperature between 217 and 227 °C to melt this SAC305 alloy. Keep the temperature in this liquid range for 30 to 60 seconds for a proper bond. Standard soldering irons or hot air stations can easily reach these targets.
