Questions about this product
- What is a dual level float switch used for?
- A dual level switch lets you control a device between two set points, like turning a pump on when a tank is nearly empty and off when it's full. This gives you automatic control over a fill or drain cycle without needing complex electronics.
- How do I mount this switch in a tank?
- This switch has an M10 thread on a 100mm long P.P (polypropylene) body. You install it by drilling a corresponding M10 hole in the wall or lid of your tank and securing it with a nut.
- What's the maximum voltage and current this can switch for a pump?
- It can switch a maximum of 220V DC with a current up to 1.5A. For larger pumps or AC mains power, it's best to use this switch to operate the coil of a suitably rated relay or contactor.
