- This breaker is specifically designed for solar PV systems and is rated for up to 1000V DC. You should not use it for AC applications because DC and AC electrical arcs behave very differently. It safely manages DC current with a breaking capacity of 10 kA.
- How do I choose the correct amperage rating for my solar array?
- We offer selectable current ratings ranging from 3A up to 63A to fit your specific system. To find the right size, multiply your solar panel short-circuit current by 1.25. This calculation helps protect your wiring while preventing annoying, unnecessary trips.
